Company Profile
We started our operations in the year 1995. For over 25 years we have been serving the Steel Melting Industry as a vital link in the metal melting process. We are now a leading supplier of Liquid Metal Temperature Measuring Instruments and Expandable Thermocouple Tips in South India. Our high quality of products, professional approach, competitive pricing and an expanding network have helped us built a name for ourselves.
As part of our marketing strategy, on August 2019 we have renamed our operations to KARUNA TEMP SYSTEM PVT LTD from SRUTI CORPORATION.

Our Products
We are manufactures of Expandable Thermocouple Tips and Liquid Metal Samplers. The Expandable Tips are used for temperature measurement whereas the Liquid Metal Sampler enables the spectrographic analysis of the metal’s chemistry providing quick and representative samples of the molten metal in the required forms. Accuracy, reproducibility and reliability of molten metal temperature measurements directly influence the quality of the product as well as the productivity of the plant.
The Expandable thermocouple tip is first inserted onto a long lance fitted with a receptacle. The moment the thermocouple tip with a paper body is properly connected to the lance, an automatic signal is generated on the temperature measurement control panel to confirm a proper connection. This assembly is immersed into the molten metal, where the thermocouple tip meets the liquid metal. This assembly is kept immersed for about 4-5 seconds for the tip to translate the temperature into millivolts. These millivolts are instantly recorded by the calibrated measuring instrument, which displays the temperature value on the system screen with the help of led bulbs.
For spectrographic analysis of metal, a sample of liquid metal bath is necessary. The immersion samplers are used for this specific purpose of taking these samples fast. The sampler fitted into the paper body is immersed into molten metal and kept immersed for about 4 seconds. Due to the pressure differentials, the molten metal gets filled into the cavity of the sampler. The sampler is now taken out and solidified metal sample that is trapped inside is easily removed for analysis.
